The power and life in God's word speak directly to individuals, regardless of their circumstances. From here, we started our dive into 1 Peter. Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, writes to the "elect exiles scattered throughout." Believers are "exiles" or "sojourners" because their true citizenship is in heaven, not on earth. All faithful believers throughout history have acknowledged themselves as strangers and exiles on earth, seeking a heavenly homeland. We are to focus on our heavenly citizenship and the return of Christ, remembering our mission: the ministry of reconciliation.

JOIN US this Sunday, October 4th, as we continue our dive into 1 Peter!

Sunday service starts at 9:30 AM.
