The same God who reconciled you to Himself has now entrusted you with the message of reconciliation. You are not a spectator in His redemptive work; you are an ambassador. An ambassador does not speak his own words or represent his own interests. He carries the message of the one who sent him. The gospel is not a private treasure to be hoarded. It is the only word that can set a person free from the guilt of sin, the power of death, and the certainty of judgment. The people in your life who do not know Christ are not beyond reach. They are your mission field.
